David Hernandez was a male stripper

For those of you who don’t watch American Idol, there’s a guy named David Hernandez on it. I think he sings or something. The show is about singing, right? Anyway. He used to strip fully nude at Dick’s Cabaret and give lap dances to men.

“He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here,” Bryan said.

Bryan claims Hernandez — who hails from Glendale, Arizona — worked at the strip club, Dick’s Cabaret, for three years until the end of September 2007.

Rumors of a stripper past — along with photos of a scantily clad Hernandez working as a bartender at gay nightclub Burn — were first posted last week on VoteForTheWorst.com, a site that encourages “Idol” viewers to vote for “the bad and truly entertaining contestants.”

David Hernandez may be gay, but did you notice? American Idol is on 3 nights a week. 3 nights! Yet, Arrested Development is never coming back. I won’t stand for this injustice. I’m going to write a letter. A very angry letter using words like “extreme distaste” and “personally offended.” I have a voice and I’m going to use it. Now where’s my pen? All the way over there? Um, forget it. I’ll just put up a Christmas greeting video from another contestant instead.
