David Hernandez Probably Shouldn't Sing 'You Can Leave Your Hat On'

It's been confirmed that by his former employer, that David Hernandez, "American Idol" hopeful, used to work at a male strip club in Phoenix. The manager of Dick's Cabaret, Gordy Bryan, said that the 24-year-old finalist from Glendale, Arizona, used to dance nude, as well as perform lap dances. According to Bryan, "He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here." Most of the customers were male and Bryan claims that Hernandez worked at the club consistently until September of last year. Rumors of David's stripper past first started circulating on the Internet at Vote for the Worst.com.

There's no word yet on whether or not this information will affect Hernandez's eligibility to continue to compete on the show, unless, that is, the music kicks in on stage and he finds himself doing what comes natural. It will all end with him collapsing on stage in a pile of tears and clothing sobbing, "It's all I know!"
