As the American Idol finalist told Entertainment Weekly, he’s just here to sing. Viewers can decide if that makes him worthy to remain on the show. So far, they’ve responded positively.
“I think America’s judging us all off of our voices right now,” Hernandez said at the American Idol Top 12 party in West Hollywood last night. “Obviously they were, because I’m still in the Top 12, thank God. So I’m not really concerned with what’s going on [with those entertainment news reports]. I’m just focused on singing, because that’s what I’m here to do.”
David Hernandez has handled his recent controversy with grace and maturity.
