In 1987 Eddie Van Halen filed a patent for “A supporting device for stringed musical instruments, for example, guitars.” The device is a thing that props a guitar up on your leg. Big deal you say? Well, know what this means: is actually illegal to rock out like Eddie Van Halen! Shaa! Rock and Roll! And yes, the facial expression in Eddie’s drawing of himself is insane!
