I didn’t even Tivo it…Darn.
We all know that Omarosa was fired from the Apprentice last night. And, by the looks of things, it may have been deserved. Just by sheer numbers, Omarosa’s team lost BIG time and she was Project Manager…You know what that means… Off with the head if you don’t come out ahead!
I am sure we all know the bloodbath of insults that flew between Omarosa and Piers Morgan, who I believe is a “cheap knockoff” of American Idol’s Simon Cowell. Even though Simon and Piers worked together in Britain.
Now for the TODAY show wrap-up…I was working on this blog as I swung around in my chair when I heard Omarosa’s voice on my tele. “Oh”, I thought…”That’s cool, Omarosa is on.”
Then, Ann Curry pounced. Her body language and tone of voice was swinging at Omarosa about the comments she made regading Piers being “in the closet”.
Ann Curry slung the “[That was] kind of mean” argument that put Omarosa on the defense. “You must not have seen the whole season, Ann.”, Omarosa came back with a tongue-lashing left hook.
Hota Kotb backed up Ann. They wanted to know if Omarosa thought was it right to call Piers out if he is gay and why would she say such information alluding to Piers’ homosexuality being a negative.
It was like two sisters ganging up on the “sistah”. Just ugly. Omarosa held her own and made a clever segue into talking about the charity she was on the Celebrity Apprentice to raise money for. For more on Omarosa’s charity, goto www.Omarosa.com.
It was a Today show good match. As I said, I do like Omarosa. She stands firmly on her beliefs. It’s difficult for a woman, especially an african-american woman to do that without looking like a bitch. Oprah has that problem, too. Read about that here.
So, do I and I can take it!
