The High School Musical hottie was there for the premiere of Explicit Ills, which is a drama starring Sin City actress Rosario Dawson.
As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Vanessa is staying in the Lone Star state as she shoots the movie Will, which is the story of “a high school outcast’s bond with a popular girl over their shared love of music, which results in them assembling a rock group that looks to win their school’s upcoming battle of the bands competition.”
In the movie, which won’t be in theaters until 2009, Vanessa is joined by co-stars Gaelan Connell, Lisa Kudrow and David Bowie.
