Amanda Overmyer reportedly has naked pictures that are being shopped according to a breaking report from the National Enquirer. Although Amanda would not be the first Idol wannabe to have a scandal over naked or racy photos, it appears that someone from her home state is trying to sell photos to the highest bidder, asking for serious cash. However, there is no confirmation that the photos exist.
The Enquirer's source said:
“Someone in her home state of Indiana is shopping nude pictures of Amanda-and they’ve been offered big money….If those pictures pop up on the Internet, Idol will have another huge scandal on it’s hands.”
Could a photo scandal help or hurt Amanda at this point? Although previous reject Antonella Barba was probably the most popular search for her racy photos, it obviously didn't help her in getting votes because she was given the boot pretty early in the competition last season.
I don't know why people would want to see Amanda's naked photos in the first place though. Ew!
Last week, Amanda seemed pretty bummed during her feedback from the judges and it may have been due to the criticism she received the previous week or the mug shot that circulated the internet, so who knows what her reaction will be this week to this.
