Eliot Spitzer: New York Governor Resigns

In absolute irony and with an inevitable ending, Eliot "The John" Spitzer, aka. Client 9 has resigned from office as the Governor of New York following his apparent involvement with a high-end prostitution service called the Emperor's Club. In a joint campaign of Haterade, The IRS and the Feds uncovered Spitzer's alleged desire for un-safe sex, out-of town trysts, and a $80,000 spending history with the escort service.The resignation becomes effective as of Monday March 17, 2008 and will most likely pave the way for New York's first African American Governor, David Patterson the current Lt. Governor.
