Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire took a much-needed holiday in Hawaii. Not to worry though, the ex-couple weren’t there together. But what are the chances that both would be vacationing on the tropical island at the same time? Hmmm. The coincidental island appearance does sound a bit like Lost.
Maguire was seen with his wife and new baby, Ruby, frolicking in the surf. Dunst was spotted in different bathing suits enjoying the sun, yet careful not to tan her fair, porcelain skin.
Dunst and Maguire split in 2002, after dating for a year, but still managed to carry on a professional relationship – starring in Spider-Man 2 as well as the upcoming third edition of the comic book series. We suppose money conquers all in this case. Working with an ex for a fat paycheck is a small price to pay.
One thing is certain – while the two are definitely not an item anymore, they are (separately) getting some R&R before the release of the Spider-Man 3 sequel. The newest installment of the superhero franchise opens on May 4th .
Rumors of the two wrapping up their Peter Parker/Mary Jane roles are rampant. Both are reportedly passing on a fourth sequel of Spider-Man, so don’t expect to see Tobey donning the Spidey tights for a fourth time. Awww.
With a release date set for "New Moon" (the sequel to Twilight), has Twilight fever begun again?
