Dancing with the Stars: Kristi Yamaguchi Sets Gold Standard

The Gold Medal-winning ice skating champion proved that her skill set can translate from frozen water to hardwood, as her and Mark Ballas nabbed straight 9’s from the judges on Dancing with the Stars last night and earned a standing ovation from the toughest, Bruno Tonioli.

“The ice maiden has just melted my heart,” said judge Len Goodman.

Other standouts of the night included:
• Shannon Elizabeth’s legs. Wow. The American Pie actress has gams that stretch from here to next week’s paso doble?

• Marlee Matlin’s cha cha cha. She may not have been able to hear the music, but her sense of timing was acute. Partner Fabian Sanchez deserves a lot of credit.

• The teeth on Marissa Jaret Winokur. The girl can smile! A lot! Brightly!
