Jamie Lee Curtis Is My Hero

Normally I would suggest that old people keep their clothes on when it comes to being in the media. Rule of thumb if your boobs hang low, if they wobble to and fro…keep them tucked away. However, Jamie Lee Curtis reminds me that superimposed, airbrushed women are an unreachable goal for the real woman.

Jamie Lee stripped down to her support garments in order to prove the point that while she looks fab in People magazine, airbrushing, great lighting and a makeup team help achieve the typical celeb style of perfection. Fearless once again, she posed topless for the cover of AARP to celebrate her 50th birthday. Her life motto should be what we focus on…

“Glam isn’t real, but good health is.”

Cheesy, but when you are looking a life sentence of health problems because you lived on cottage cheese and Special K for five months to fit into your skinny jeans, she makes a good point. Instead of starving herself or utilizing the scalpel to achieve a svelte image, she gave up those pesky foods that posed as healthy snacks. Crackers, bread and granola have white flour and sugar which equals high fat contents. (That scary Quaker Oats guy is a lying bastard.)

When I grow up I want to be Jamie Lee Curtis….or Heidi Klum. Yes, I am still shallow but now I have a conscious.
