The Week in Preview

We want our MTV.  And it looks like the television gods are delivering it to us this week.  Everything is about the channel, the music, and the stars.

LAUGH: Catch Britney Spears's TV acting debut on "How I Met Your Mother" on Monday.  It's only a bit spot, but it might mean Brit Brit's actually ready to get back into the spotlight.

WATCH: Keep that remote handy to switch over to the return of "The Hills" Monday night.  Season 3 never ended, it just went to Paris to have a fling with a Frenchman…oh wait, that was Lauren.

LISTEN: Check out the "Making the Band" stars when the boys' first album, the self-titled "Day 26", drops on Tuesday.  Danity Kane's "Welcome to the Dollhouse" hit stores last week and it's already tearing up the charts.

SEE: War is hell and usually so are the movies about it.  But anything starring Ryan Phillippe is a little bit of heaven if you ask us. His new movie "Stop Loss" premieres Friday (courtesy of MTV Films – see there is a connection!).
