More violence against emos in Mexico
Buzznet recently covered a violent anti-emo incident that occurred in Querétaro, Mexico. In that case, metalheads and punks teamed up to teach some emos a lesson. LA Weekly reports that the violence has now spread to other areas of the country, including Mexico City, Durango, and Colima. In Mexico City, rockabillies and punkers got together to beat up some emos in the Glorieta de Insurgents, reportedly a major emo hangout.

Many are blaming the attacks on a Televisa personality named Kristoff, who recently ranted against emo, calling it "f---ing bullsh--". They reportedly believe that he was the catalyst behind metalheads, punks, rockabillies, and others putting into action plans to banish emos from social centers in Mexico. Watch the video in which Kristoff speaks out against emo.

The movement had been spreading through Internet message boards and social networking sites before Kristoff's comments. Here is a news report that recaps the whole situation.
