Jessica Simpson leaves hospital

So the big breaking news emerging from Hollywood at this hour is that Jessica Simpson has finally been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after she suffered from a kidney infection.

Nothing major of course, just a normal aftereffect of the routine post weekend booze binge, but it still was more significant a news item to bump the presidential elections off the charts.

And this is what her reps had to say about her illness:

She was hospitalized for a kidney infection, but she has been released and is doing fine. She checked in on Friday morning because she was feeling achy and had a fever. She is so happy she is out and feeling great.

Why do I feel like my life would have been infinitely empty if I had not known this fact!
