JANE Fonda was the belle of the ball at the Cinema Society afterparty for “Smart People” on Monday. The two-time Oscar winner, who’s not in the film, showed up to the Bowery Hotel bash wearing a chocolate gown paired with red rhinestone sunglasses and motorcycle boots. Fonda partied with new boyfriend Lynden Gillis, who met her when he asked her for an autograph at a book signing. Also at the Linda Wells-hosted party were the movie’s stars - Ellen Page, Thomas Haden Church, Dennis Quaid and Sarah Jessica Parker, who was being interviewed on the red carpet when the reporter suddenly fainted. Parker’s hubby Matthew Broderick, as well as Griffin Dunne, Donna Karan, Parker Posey, Howard Stern fiancée Beth Ostrosky and “30 Rock” stars Katrina Bowden, Rachel Dratch and Lonny Ross all walked the red carpet. Ellen Barkin, who rebuffed fotogs, was overheard inviting Isla Fisher to her next Passover dinner, saying she makes a “mean brisket.” And Rocco Dispirito walked around showing off his new gal pal, Eddie Murphy ex Tracey Edmonds.
