New York Rangers hockey star Sean Avery has reportedly slammed reports connecting him to the prostitution scandal that brought down New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. The ex-boyfriend of Elisha Cuthbert was identified as one of the 2,000 names in an address book that the New York Daily News claims belongs to Kristin Davis.
Former Governor Spitzer allegedly used Davis' services, however, Avery swears he has never met Davis or visited any prostitutes and insists that his name was probably given to the madam by one of his enemies.
He told the New York Daily News:
"This assertion is false and defamatory. I was never a client of Ms. Davis, nor of any prostitute."
Davis has also said she has never had any contact with him.
Isn't it interesting how his name got in that book though? I guess anyone could give false names to these madams. What a clever idea to use the names of people you hate though eh?
