Joe Jonas was seen holding hands with actress Chelsea Staub as the pair went for a shopping spree around 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica this past weekend.

The pair shared a bag of chips and appears to be having a good time together.

However, Joe’s rep insists they are simply good pals. “All the Jonas Brothers are friends with Chelsea. They met while working on the pilot for J.O.N.A.S.”

Chelsea starred in the family comedy Bratz and will soon be co-starring in J.O.N.A.S!, the new TV series starring the Jonas Brothers.

We bet all Joe Jonas’ fans are praying that his rep’s statement is true!
