Prison Time For Prison Break Star

Not a good time to be Lane Garrison – whose charges on Thursday included manslaughter (among others) for his involvement in a fatal car crash.

Garrison, most famous for his role as “Tweener” on Prison Break, was driving an SUV in December and hit a tree. Unfortunately, a teenager was killed in the crash and two other teens were injured. Why he was driving teens around Beverly Hills was not immediately clear – it was later reported that the kids recognized him at a supermarket and asked him to buy them alcohol. Some reports say that the teens invited him to a party and they were leaving the party when they crashed.

Garrison’s blood-alcohol was .20 percent and he also tested positive for cocaine. His charges include manslaughter, driving while intoxicated, and providing alcohol to a minor.

Here’s another classic example of a celebrity throwing it all away by doing something stupid. If Garrison is convicted, he could get up to six years in the slammer. The irony here ain’t pretty. Garrison’s role on Prison Break was as a young inmate, so it’ll be like living out his role – for real.
