Have you heard the latest gossip? Scarlett Johansson is all over Tom Waits – his music, that is. That's right, everyone's favorite blond bombshell is coming out with her debut album next month. The record is full of Waits covers and called "Anywhere I Lay My Head".
Thinking about sexy Scarlett's first release got us wondering if the luscious lipped actress can actually sing. Will the album be a flop or the gateway to multi-media superstardom? Just look at some of the other non-musical celebs who've tried to break onto the pop charts.
Eddie Murphy –His mid-80s song "Party All The Time" was a hit, but future recordings stalled out. Good thing Eddie's got a successful comedy and acting career!
Bruce Willis – Yep, you read that right. The best ex-husband ever was once the worst pop singer ever. He's got three albums under his belt, but unsurprisingly few hits.
Shaq – The big guy tried to add "rapper" to his resume back in the 1990s. He managed to squeeze out six albums during his downtime from basketball. But his talent definitely resides on the court.
What do you think of the celebrity wannabe popstar trend? Will Scarlett Johansson's album be a success or another A-list mistake?
