'I grew up in this city, and I worked in soup kitchens throughout high school, so being back here is like a full circle,' said Gwyneth.
Fashion award of the night goes to Iron Chef Mario Batali, who donned a bright orange tie and matching crocs.
Mario has been filming a TV show with Gwyneth, is the epitome of good media relations. He (jokingly) said, 'We totally use the celebrities to try and gain recognition for our noble cause.'
Gwyneth maybe said it a little better:
'As celebrities, we are given so much and we are very blessed. With that comes a real responsibility to give back, share, give money, time and attention to people and causes that need it.'
I'd love to see Gwyn back helping in the soup kitchen. I think I would get some sort of satisfaction out of seeing her do something not so glamorous.
And why is everyone always all over Helena?
