Miley Cyrus Battles Strep Throat
With the 2008 Country Music Awards scheduled for tomorrow night (April 14), Miley Cyrus has the studio exec’s a bit worried - as she’s reportedly battling a bad Streptococcus (strep) throat infection.

The Hannah Montana star and her family were spotted making their way to a private airport in Los Angeles on Saturday, where the whole clan (mom, brother, sisters, grandma, assistants, and animals) all boarded a Walt Disney $50 million Gulfstream IV private jet.


Before taking off, the group sat on the tarmac - waiting for 40 minutes for a female doctor to show up to give Miley some medicine to relieve her pain.

And with rehearsals scheduled for today, everyone’s just hoping that Miley’s feeling well enough for her presenter duties alongside father Billy Ray - who anxiously awaited his family’s arrival in Nashville.

  • this report is BS! This was not reported on 4/13 but the day after the awards. No search on Miley the day of the awards reported such a thing.

  • Hey...anneday69...can you read...she didn't go all the way to Nashville just to get medicine. In fact it says she waited in LA for the medicine before going to Nashville to present awards...
