Amy Winehouse Cancels New Album Recording

Amy Winehouse's new album is unlikely to be released this year as scheduled. The "Rehab" hitmaker has canceled plans to begin the recording of her third album, much to the dismay of her label bosses.

 

Island Records, the 24-year-old's label, had organized for a trip to the Bahamas to start her new record with producer Saleem Remi. However, Winehouse had backed out at the last minute.

 

A source was quoted by showbizspy.com, Island wanted to get her away from it all and thought it would be great surrounding for her. It was a very expensive trip and it was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album. But Amy pulled out at the last minute.
