Taylor Swift Wins Female Video of the Year Award

Looking her lovely self on the red carpet at the 2008 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, it ended up being a big night on Monday for rising country star Taylor Swift.

Getting a big congratulations from the show’s host and her good pal, Miley Cyrus, Swift won female video of the year for her hit tune “Our Song”.

“Are you serious? I can’t even believe this,” said Swift, 18, who beat out a field that included Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes and Miranda Lambert.

This is the second year in a row that Taylor has won herself a buckle by the fan’s vote at the annual awards show.
