Carmelo Anthony, the All-Star forward of the Denver Nuggets and former member of the national championship Syracuse Orangemen, has been arrested for DUI.
“Carmelo was pulled over late Sunday night on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol,” said Anthony’s lawyer Dan Recht in a statement.
“He co-operated by consenting to a blood test, the results of which will not be available for approximately two weeks. There was no accident and no one was hurt.
“Like anyone in a similar situation, Carmelo has to wait for the results of his blood test. He regrets putting himself in this situation.”

The Denver Nuggets are currently the 8th seed in the Western Conference playoff race after defeating Huston on Sunday. I can be the owners of the Nuggets will have a little talk with Carmelo about the millions of dollars they are paying him to keep his head on straight and get the Nuggets into the post season.
