Ashlee Simpson Avoids Talent, Pregnancy Questions

Alleged singer Ashlee Simpson refused to answer questions about her pregnancy or Tuesday at MTV’s TRL, saying that “I just think it’s an unfair question to ask any woman,” and “For me, that’s something that I didn’t ever want to respond to, because I think it’s an inappropriate question.”

“Some things, you want to keep personal, and I think that when people deny reports, it’s probably because it’s something they want to keep personal.”

So… this means Ashlee Simpson is in fact pregnant, then? Or not?

A story on People cites another source claiming Simpson is knocked up right now - and planning on marrying Pete Wentz next month in California!

She won’t admit it, but we think Ashlee Simpson is pregnant!

Earlier this week, we reported that the singer, 23, and her new fiancé, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, 28, were expecting their first child.

Wentz told MTV News it’s not the case, however, saying “There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood.”

Ashlee Simpson has been equally quiet on the topic.

“That’s all so sacred, I need to keep that to myself … But [Wentz] did a great job at picking out the ring,” she said, adding that she and Pete decided to announce their engagement themselves because “it was important for us.

“There was a story coming out and people … always write untrue things, and we wanted to let our fans know from us.”
