Jennie Garth to Join 90210 Spin-Off?

That's the latest buzz swirling since Garth, 35, recently quit CBS' upcoming comedy pilot My Best Friend's Girl.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, she dropped out Monday after a table read.

The trade reports that it was "a mutual decision between her and the producers" as Garth was still coping with the death of her father, who passed away after she was cast. (Actress Kristin Booth — who once guest starred on Supernatural — will replace her.)

Garth — one of Us Weekly's Weight Winners of the Year — may not have trouble finding work.

According the the Reporter, Rob Thomas, writer of the 90210 spin-off, has been looking to potentially recruit Garth to reprise her role as Kelly Taylor. She could play a fashion design teacher on the show.
