Johnny Depp's Daughter Recovering in a British Hospital

The seven-year-old daughter of actor Johnny Depp and his lover-companion, French singer Vanessa Paradis, is doing much better after spending much of last week in a British hospital listed in grave condition but is doing "much better" now.

Several British papers have dished that Lily-Rose Depp came down with an undisclosed illness approximately a week ago and that her forty-three year old dad (btw, can you believe how smokin' Depp is at 45?) was at her bedside every day.

The exact case of little Lily's illness is being kept under wraps, although celebrity snitches are tattling that the child has suffered a case of blood poisoning caused by stepping on a rusty nail. Depp has been filming a movie version of the stage musical Sweeney Todd for DreamWorks. Reps for DreamWorks report:

We have adjusted the schedule to accommodate [Depp's] needs at this moment. We understand that [Lily-Rose] is improving. ... Obviously everybody at the studio is certainly with them in their good spirits.

We're glad to hear Lil's feeling better, hopefully she'll be watching Spongebob, or whatever seven year olds do for fun nowadays, in no time.
