The Girls Aloud star is reportedly set to enter the recording studio with top British producer T2, who has worked with artists including Kelly Rowland, Kate Nash and Natasha Bedingfield.
A source said: "Cheryl and T2 have been in discussions about her solo material. He is the man of the moment, with a lot of pop acts clamoring for his expertise on collaborations."
