Is It Back To Work For Nicole Richie?

Since the birth Harlow Winter Kate Madden in January, Nicole Richie has remained pretty low-keyed in suburbia Glendale, CA.

Just the other day, the new mom was spotted leaving an audition with script in hand, and told onlookers that she was, “getting back to work.” Friends of Nicole seemed kind of surprised, that she would want to leave her suburban lifestyle behind, for the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. A source told OK!,

“Nicole is thrilled with the way things are in her life, and she couldn’t be happier. Nicole really loves living the simple life in Glendale, she loves being at home with the baby. Ever since Harlow arrived, Nicole’s happier than I’ve ever seen her.”

When daddy, Joel Madden, 29, is touring with Good Charlotte, Nicole makes sure to keep him updated, sending photos to his phone.

“While he’s away, Nicole is always sending Joel pictures of little Harlow,” the friend says. “Joel responds by calling back and singing little lullabies into the phone, which always makes Harlow giggle and smile.”

So cute! Good for them - Last week Nicole told Extra that life a mom is, “Beyond amazing.”
