Connor Cruise to portray a young Will Smith in Seven Pounds
Having actor Tom Cruise, 45, and actress Nicole Kidman, 40, for parents, didn't stop their son, Connor, 13, from having to audition for his very first movie role alongside actor Will Smith, 39.  People has reported that after trying out for the role, Connor landed the very minor spot of a young version of Will in the upcoming movie, Seven Pounds.  And Tom?  Well, he couldn't be happier or more proud of his son, according to a source.

Tom is so proud of Connor.  He's proud of him for really doing this on his own.

Seven Pounds will be out in December 2008.
