The couple were married in 2004 in an extravagant ceremony with 500 guests and a wedding party of nearly 40 people. Over 30 corporate partners ranging from airlines to invitation printers donated products or money for the lavish affair, in exchange for Jones' pimping them on The View. Her incessant discussion of her wedding and its sponsors was one of the reasons her contract with the talk show was not renewed.
Rumors of trouble in the marriage started in 2007 when Jones, who had been going by Star Jones Reynolds, dropped her husband's last name. She claimed she "reverted to Star Jones professionally in order to keep her public persona separate from her private self." Last month The National Enquirer reported that the pair had separated.
What I want to know is whether the sponsors will want their money and stuff back? I would!
