“I was taught to stay out of drama, not to get involved, to build bridges, not burn them,” he tells PEOPLE at an Absolut 100 bash at Hollywood’s Goa, following Kanye West’s star-studded L.A. concert. “I think a lot of those people, meaning Spencer [Pratt] and Heidi [Montag], for some reason they like to burn bridges instead of building them. I don’t agree with that. I don’t approve of that.”
Still, Jenner says he has no ill-will towards the pair — whom many consider to be the show’s major villains. “I wish the best for both of them; I really do. I hope they do amazing things.”
One thing Jenner can’t get behind, though, is the pair’s love of media attention. Says Jenner: “It’s not something I would do. I know what [Spencer's] trying to do, I know he’s trying to promote her brand. I just think it’s a little in people’s faces.”
