Ellen Degeneres was trying her best to get down to the root of the matter with Ashlee Simpson. In a show that airs today Ellen confronts Ashlee on the pregnancy.
“I can’t let you sit here and not ask you the question,” began Ellen, before daring to ask, “Are you or are you not pregnant?”
And what has become Ashlee’s middle name, avoiding, said:
“That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe… do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something? Because I don’t think I do!”
And after Ellen made Ashlee promise she wouldn’t wait six months to reveal she was pregnant, Ellen tried once again…
“Is it a boy or a girl?”
But Ashlee said nothing.
