Hip Hop 4 Prez: After Today’s Non-Guilty Verdict, What Do You Think It Will Take For Police Brutality Victims To Get A Fair Trial?
I've been involved in my fair share of police brutality activism. In 2006 I was part of a large coalition that fought for justice after a man was beat by police in Milwaukee. While the cops got off at the municipal level, the police were eventually convicted at the federal level.
But this is rare. Most times cops get off. And I think there are a several reasons why.
