Don’t Bash Miley Cyrus: A Billion Dollar Baby Story

I know that thousands of blogger are jumping in the Miley Cyrus bashing party.

Not going to do that. Not here.

You can’t bash Miley.  She’s a freakin’ minor.  Like 15. Like a kid, child…baby!

Why the hell are people bashing Miley?

Now… Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley’s Man-mom-ager, Tish.  Let’s get ‘em!

In an earlier post here,

I spoke about the “People magazine reports that the Miley Cyrus franchise will be worth a projected $1 billion by the end of the year. She tops the magazine’s list of the richest teen celebrities.”

A Disney spokeswoman called the Vanity Fair shoot “a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”  Like Disney is just so innocent…but, in this situation…they are portrayed like “girl scouts” while Vanity Fair is portrayed as “photo pimps.”

Wow!  Now, is all this on the line over an “artistic” photo shoot gone wrong???

Does Miley really need to look more “mature” at 15?  Why didn’t Miley come out with something else??? A line of clothing or something?  A brand of widgets or something…anything but this!

A well-known magazine that prints provocative photos. Vanity Fair magazine that just had Lindsay Lohan (A former Disney princess) pose topless as drug-overdosing Marilyn Monroe.

Why would you allow your daughter to do this?

What were they thinking?

Why the hell would they allow Miley to do such provacative photos at HER AGE?

It’s considered risque for an adult to sit in a photograph with her back exposed.  Let alone a child.

Look Billy Ray and Tish, your daughter paycheck has an image to uphold.  Miley has a “rep to protect”.  DUUHHHH???

I wanna slap you guys.  Do you know you have a responsibility to all those little girls to help Miley keep her innocent image, at least until she’s legally able to control her business ventures?

What about her fan base?  What are you going to tell the 5 to 12 year-olds?

How come Billy Ray and Tish are throwing Miley under the Hannah Montana bus?

Billy Ray and Tish should be apologizing!  They should be speaking up on behalf of their daughter.

Don’t make Miley say she’s sorry… like she did below:

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” her statement reads. “I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

Billy Ray and Tish should be apologizing to Miley for allowing her to do this.  They weren’t duped or tricked.   It is what it is.

Aren’t her parents supposed to be protecting her… and her assets?

Gosh, I hate stage parents that try to “grow” their kids up too fast.  Didn’t we learn anything from Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears?

It’s NOT Miley’s fault and I valiantly defend her.  It’s the bad decisions of the greedy and the seedy.
