"I love it!" the 15-year-old star of Disney's Hannah Montana says.
"Obviously not the scenarios," says the God-loving abstaining Power Girl. "But if you watch Sex and The City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters – that's a thing we try to do on our show."
The Vanity Fair profile accompanies a controversial semi-topless photo of the singer-actress clutching a blanket (watch behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot above).
"I thought, this looks pretty, and really natural," she told the magazine. "I think it's really artsy. [And] it wasn't in a skanky way."
"And you can't say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]," Cyrus continued. "She's so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you're like, O.K."
On Sunday, Cyrus expressed second thoughts about the photo, which – like other recent pics of her in lingerie – cut against her clean-cut image (See more topless stars here).
"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she told Usmagazine.com.
"I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about," she added.
