The new cd of Granny, Hard Candy, is expected to sell between 275,000 and 300,000 copies in its first week of sales in America, therefor it is expected to debut at #1. However...

Granny's latest cd, Confessions..., debuted with an estimated 350,000 copies in its first week.

Also, in comparisment with other, modern day, singers Granny is behind:

Britney Spears - Blackout: 290,000 sold copies in its first week.
Mariah Carey - E=MC2: 475,000 sold copies in its first week.
Beyonce Knowleys - 541,000 sold copies in its first week.

Could this be the end of Granny? Just kidding...God isn't that nice.

Oh yeah, unfortunately, Granny's album is expected to debut at #1 in the UK.
