Odd Love: Is the Mayer-Maniston Fling For Real?
I almost wi were true; Jen could use a hot summer romance to keep her mind off the birth of the great Brangelina baby this summer. John Mayer is notorious for pulling the collective paparazzi leg with same-sex groping and mysterious remarks. And that Borat banana hammock... I guess there must have been a reason, but it escapes me. Is this all a publicity ploy?

These two just seem so incompatible. John Mayer has been with so many girls, from Jessica to Minka to Rumer to Mischa - Jen is so far out of his league. How could a woman who dates so many beautiful men go for a guy who made out with Perez Hilton? He's not even on par with Vaughn.

Another grain of doubt: The two were photographed sunbathing together, draped over each other, laughing and having a great time. And no, they didn't look drunk. They looked contrived, like they were on set, not on vacation.

Is this another Ashton trick? In Touch, Us Weekly and even People all say this is real, true love, even though they've only gone out a couple of times. Will John stick around longer than Vince, Paul or Jason? It's hard to say; she must be a handful, especially now that she's getting older and set in her ways.
