Just take Britney Spears, for example. The divorced mama is so washed up she's even paler than those acid fade cutoffs she wears. The solution? A guest role on the comedy TV show "How I Met Your Mother". The stunt pulled major viewers and BritBrit's back in the lineup for future episodes. (Of course, we all know how co-star Neil Patrick Harris feels about that.)
Lindsay Lohan's agent must've been taking notes, too. LiLo is guesting on the season finale of "Ugly Betty" and is rumored to return for more next year. Nothing makes people forget about rehab and Ronson relationship rumors like a little bit of scripted fun.
So, what's next? Will we be seeing other bad girls playing nice for television audiences? Michelle Rodriguez on "Rules of Engagement"? Vanessa Hudgens on "Two and a Half Men"? Only time and some clever agents will tell.
