Lindsay Lohan's mugshot used to launch a campaign against a device to help prevent drink-driving
The American Beverage Association, which promotes responsible drinking, used a photo of the actress taken after her DUI arrest last year in an ad in newspaper USA Today.
The full-page advertisement was objecting to the use of ignition interlocks, which prevent intoxicated motorists from starting their cars.
The ABI is against the device, saying placing one in every car would signal an end to "moderate and responsible drinking prior to driving".
