Hit the Lights: New Tour, New Singer - Same Band Name

Hit the Lights have returned with a new singer and a new album. To help celebrate, the band has lined up a short nine-day tour.

The pop-punkers, with guitarist Nick Thompson now on lead vocals, will be hitting the road with I Am the Avalanche, Jet Lag Gemini and Thee Armada starting May 29 in Modesto, California.

Hit the Lights tour dates:

5.29: Modesto, CA @ Sidelines
5.30: Victorville, CA @ Karma
5.31: Pheonix, AZ @ Brickhouse
6.2: Houston, TX @ Warehouse Live
6.3: Dallas, TX @ The Door
6.5: Nashville, TN @ Rockettown
6.6: St. Louis, MS @ 2 Cents Plain
6.7: Chicago, IL @ Beat Kitchen
6.8: Columbus, OH @ The Basement

Hit the Lights released their debut album, This Is a Stick Up ... Don't Make It a Murder, in 2006. Singer Colin Ross left the band in June 2007, whittling down the band to a fourpiece, with Thompson taking over vocal duties. Do you think Hit the Lights can still remain popular with Thompson now playing the role?
