Onto our other prediction – Hayley. She certainly didn’t bring much to the competition, forgetting words, and seemingly on the edge of a breakdown after the judges’ comments. Unless she got the country’s sympathy vote, we were pretty sure she’d be leaving the stage. And they must have poured in – she didn’t even make bottom three!
Well, we didn’t see this one coming. His performance wasn’t spectacular and he did forget the words, but he certainly wasn’t the worst of the lot. It’s the end of the road for Brandon.
In other Idol news, AI alum/Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is working on her membership to the diva club. Hey, we can’t blame her – she won an Oscar right out of the gate…. we’d be full-on diva too. The biggest gripe about Hudson is that she’s just plain ungrateful for the exposure she got on American Idol. Not that she should be kissing the bum of Simon Cowell, but we’re pretty sure if she didn’t have the exposure on Idol, she never would have landed the plum role.
So Jenn, throw Simon a little love, would ya?
