As much as we knew that the combination of rock star and actress was bound to end before death did them part, we held out hope that Liv Tyler and her hubby Royston Langdon would make it work. Alas, they've gone the way of Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson and have officially confirmed the split to People magazine, adding that the couple "remain good friends."

Aww, well at least they created some cute spawn in the process. That's gotta count for something, right?
