According WNBC, the rapper's lawyer, Ivan Fisher, said that the two will wed at Rikers Correctional facility today. Both Remy and Pap will reportedly each be allowed two guests at the jailhouse ceremony. Remy is scheduled to be sentenced after being convicted of shooting former acquaintance Makeda Barnes-Joseph after a dispute over stolen money outside of a Manattan nightclub in July of 2007.
As previously reported, Remy was found guilty on four charges, including assault in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted coercion. She was not charged with gang assault, witness intimidation or witness tampering from a seperate incident.
Unhappy with the verdict, Remy called into DJ Kay Slay's Shade 45 radio show, saying that she believed that the guilty verdict was a result of a biased jury.
Remy is scheduled to be sentenced tommorrow.
