Remy Ma gets 8 years jail time for shooting!
Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years in prison yesterday for shooting a woman outside a New York nightclub. The shooting happened back in July last year Remy shot the woman after accusing her of taking $2,000 from her purse -then fleeing without calling police or seeking medical help. It’s not good to lose one’s temper and this is just that!

The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith, had faced up to 25 years in prison for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion for firing two .45-caliber slugs into Makeda Barnes Joseph’s abdomen in July — after accusing Joseph of taking $2,000 from her purse — then fleeing without calling police or seeking medical help. She was found guilty in March.

Her attorney, Ivan Fisher, who says the shooting was an accident, said the sentence would be appealed.
