Twice as many people expressed support for the comeback of the star of the reality show Being Bobby Brown over fellow singers-turned-reality-TV-stars Britney Spears (Britney & Kevin: Chaotic) and Jessica Simpson (Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica). Of the 1,004 adults polled, 32% hoped Tom Cruise would have a comeback this year.
More than 40% of respondents want the singer, who has been in and out of drug rehab, to shine again. In October, music producer Clive Davis reintroduced Houston, who is seeking a divorce from husband Brown, to Beverly Hills high society at the Carousel of Hope charity ball.But do they realize that a comeback means saying goodbye to Crazy Whitney? And I'm sorry, but I've kind of grown fond of that gal. In a perfect world, I could have it all--the sweat, wigs askew and "black love"--as well as the dance remix of her newest version of "It's Not Right, But It's Okay."
