EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer's Hot NYC Dinner Date

The new couple met up with four pals for a dinner date at Manhattan hot spot Waverly Inn on Wednesday.

The actress, 39, let her beau, 30, do most of the talking.

"Jennifer was just smiling and looking on, clearly in love with him and acting like he was the smartest guy on earth," a fellow diner told Usmagazine.com.

(Mayer fawned on his sweetie by walking her dog, Norman, on Tuesday.)

Mayer and Aniston — both dressed casually — shared a plate of the restaurant's famous $55 truffle macaroni and cheese. They also nibbled on fish (for Mayer) and a salad (for Aniston).

"She rubbed his back several times and they had their hands touching under the table," the fellow diner told Us. "It was really cute!"

After their over two-hour meal, the pair left the restaurant at 10:45 p.m. — but split up and went out separate entrances to throw off the waiting photographers.
