Britney & K-Fed to Remain Just Friends. Thank God.

The word on the street is that Kevin and Britney will remain platonic. Cue collective 'Phew!' around the world. Althought at this point you do have to wonder if she was better off with the douche.

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears may be spending quality time, but it's doubtful the two are getting back together any time soon. For one, Brit's apparently met a rebound romance in rehab, and a Federline pal tells Usmagazine.com that K-Fed is not interested in rekindling that burned out flame.

"I talked to Kevin about Britney and he said he's not getting back together with Britney. At least not right now. He just wants to be a friend for her," the source told Usmagazine.com. "She has told him she would get back with him, but he's trying to just do the right thing for everyone right now, but he doesn't want to go back there again."

The article continues to talk about the new man Britney has met in rehab, some guy from some band I've never heard of. But they have really cute pet names for each other already like "My Lady" and my favorite, "Mr. Secret Underground Guy."

And is rehab really the best place to meet people? Work your own out Britney, then find a man.
