From A-list to D-list, it seems every star has written their own cutesy kids book. Some of the more famous authors include Madonna, Jerry Seinfeld, and Jay Leno. And now Geri Halliwell and even Kelly Rowland are getting in on the act.
Think about it, though. Most big names have probably been offered a bio book deal. But that requires dredging up all sorts of unsavory personal deets. So, why not make a buck or two on a book that only requires a handful of words on a page? And most of the main characters of these books are mini versions of the celebs who wrote them. Nothing like a sweetened version of oneself for a little shameless self-promotion.
What do you think of the celebrity kids book trend? Are they for real or just out for a deal?
