David Beckham Stuck At Boring Basketball Game While His Former Team Realizes Their Fondest Dreams

Helium-voiced soccer star David Beckham took his son Brooklyn to an LA Lakers game last night for some father-son bonding. Meanwhile, in Russia, his former team Manchester United won the European Cup. David split a toffee apple with his kid while his team probably drank champagne out of a gigantic cup and got lap dances. And no one really watches soccer here in the States. It's kind of a sad scene.

According to his wife, stick figure Victoria Beckham, David has had a little trouble adjusting to life here in the states. David signed a multimillion dollar contract to play for the LA Galaxy in January of 2007, which brought him and his family to the states.

"It's great for me and my career. You know, David - it's tough the football because it's completely different - but he went there for a reason, he's trying to change the face of soccer in America," she told GMTV.

He looks really bored. I'm sure he loves hanging out with his kid and stuff, but he looks like he misses bangers 'n' mash and the Tower ravens and whatever British cliche you can think of.
